Here is a router with a story. Last year, this brand new machine was destined to its new owner and the truck ended up jackknifing on the sisters by Evanston. There were 3 primary areas of damage. 1) The steel enclosure around the gantry was damaged and removed. Most of the safety mats survived. All hardware was saved. The safety mat system is currently bypassed. 2) The electrical cabinet was damaged (see pictures) and the door hardware was damaged/missing. All electronics were unharmed! Something like 6 wires had to be repaired. 3) The frame did take an impact mid way down one of the x-axis sides and scraped a linear rail. The rail was stoned and seems to be fine. While repairing the machine, the gantry can be pushed by hand without any obvious binding. Under power, it works great. Machine has been squared up and leveled to the best of my capability and has handled every project we've thrown at it. This machine was left for dead and has was resurrected quite easily. I am unable to justify keeping it and hope I can find a buyer that is either resourceful enough to operate it as-is or is willing to repair the enclosure and electrical cabinet. This is a $120k machine plus some extras. Everything was new. We might have 100 hrs idling while repairs and 20 hours light duty cutting. I have a makeshift dust collector currently mounted as I wasn't going to invest in an industrial dust collector. This will be removed unless buyer wants it (see below). Also I have converted the pod and rail system to a vacuum table. This can be easily undone at buyer's request.
